Day by Day Program

Day 1 – Arrival Day

arrival in Entebbe, Airport shuttle to your lodge

Overnight: good midrange lodge close to the Lake– Meal Plan BB

Day 2 - Entebbe Shoebill Boat Safari

Relax in the morning at the shores of Lake Victoria. At 1 pm our Shoebill Guide will pick you for the Boat Safari to spot the rare, prehistorical looking, big shoebill bird.

Overnight: good midrange lodge close to the Lake– Meal Plan BB

Day 3 –  Transfer to Ziwa

Transfer to Ziwa via a stop for ATM etc at Victoria Mall in Entebbe, 4-5 hours transfer time,

lunch in Ziwa, optional nature walk in the afternoon (+20$)

Overnight: Ziwa Wildlife Ranch– Meal Plan full board

Day 4 - Rhino Tracking and Murchison NP

morning Rhino tracking, then transfer to Murchison, snack lunch at viewpoint top of the falls, game drive late afternoon

Overnight: Midrange Lodge– Meal Plan full board

Day 5 - Murchison Falls NP

morning game drive, lunch at the lodge, 2 pm Nile Boat Safari to the Falls, after dinner NIGHT GAME DRIVE

DAY 6 and 7- Kibale NP

6 hour transfer to Fort Portal via some crater lakes near Fort Portal with easy hiking. Lunch local lunch during transfer.

Day 7

morning walking safari in Bigodi Wetlands (Monkeys, Birds, plant explanations), Lunch at Tinka with explanation of Ugandan food and traditions, afternoon optional Chimpanzee Tracking

Overnight: Midrange Lodge– Meal Plan full board
Day 8 – Kazinga Kazinga Channel Boat Trip - Second NIGHT GAME DRIVE

Transfer to QE with some cultural and photographic stops,. lunch ion next lodge - afternoon one of the highlight attractions in Uganda, the Kazinga Channel boat cruise.  Before dinner: late GAME DRIVE

Overnight: Midrange Lodge– Meal Plan full board

Day 9 –  Transfer to Mgahinga NP, the home of Golden Monkeys and Gorillas

Transfer to Kisoro, the gate to Mgahinga via a stop at Lake Bunyonyi and other viewpoints.  Lunch : local snacks during transfer.

Day 10 – included is Golden Monkeys or Volcano climbing or optional GORILLAS (+700$)

Today you can choose either to join the included Golden Monkey Tracking, these monkeys are endemic in that Bamboo Forest or climb up one of the 3 nearby volcanoes. OR you choose the optional GORILLA tracking which is in this case only 700$ extra cost pp.

Mgahinga NP is the Ugandan part of the Virunga Massiv. In Rwanda it is called Volcanoes

Day 11 - OUT via Kigali Airport  or Back to Entebbe with 1 night at Lake Mburo and Game Drive there

Transfer to Kigali Airport for your flight back home, which can start from 3pm and later. If your flight is before 3 pm you might need an extra night in Kigali (about 50$ extra)
