30 days Uganda tour
We traveled with Nature Responsible Uganda for 30 days (Dec.23/Ja.24). From the initial conversation with our wishes and the suggestions Isolde and Jones made to us, we had a great tour through Uganda that convinced us 100%. The trip was just great. From the very nice accommodations to the local excursions, our vehicle with private driver/guide Clinton was very luxurious. Spontaneous market visits, photo stops, snacks, coffee stops, everything was always possible. The local guides who came along were all competent and impressed with their knowledge.
Our trip began with relaxation on Ssese Islands. Then Jinja with a boat tour to the source of the Nile, Sipi Falls with a hike and a visit to a coffee plantation. Karamoja region and tour to a traditional village. Kidepo Valley, a beautiful NP. with lots of buffalo, elephants and zebras. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you can observe rhinos up close on foot accompanied by a rancher. Great. Murchison Falls NP. with boat safari on the Nile to the Murchison Falls. As well as a second boat trip to the Nile Delta with wildlife viewing. Hoima with a very nice market. Sempaya Hotsprings, beautiful place, you cook your bought eggs in the hot springs. Kibale NP, we did a nice hike in the Bigodi Wetland and some chimpanzee tracking. Top of the World Crater Lake View, visit to a vanilla plantation with hike and a large banana market. Queen Elizabeth NP. with game drive. Beautiful boat trip on the Kazinga Canal with lots of hippos, elephants, birds. Ishasha Sector, visiting a fishing village. Lake Bunyoni by boat to accommodation. Lake Mburo NP. Small park but very scenic, with lots of zebras, giraffes, buffaloes. And last but not least, Equator Point and the end of our great trip. We go home with lots of impressions, experiences, beautiful acquaintances, great souvenirs. The trip was a highlight for us. Thank you Nature Responsible Isolde, Jones and Clinton, who showed us these great insights into a very beautiful, colorful country. And many different cultures and people. (3770 km)

Private Birding and Primates Tour March 2023
I recently made an awesome birding tour in Uganda, organised by Nature Responsible Safari. It was a very last minute decision, but thanks to NRS's manager Isolde, that was not a problem at all. I felt safe all the way, lodges were all beautifully located, clean and with good quality food even for vegetarians :) My birding/safari guide and highly experienced driver George, knew everybody everywhere, and became a friend almost instantly. The local guides in Bwindi, Rwenzori, Bunyonyi, Mabamba swamps, Bigodi Wetlands, Nile and other cruises were all knowledgeable and taking obvious pleasure in guiding. Beyond this, Uganda is an extremely beautiful country, very green, fully deserving its name of "Pearl of Africa". An unforgettable trip and experience !

Gruppenreise zu den Berggorillas Juli 2021
Im Juli 2021 war ich bei der Reise zu den Berggorillas dabei. Ich hatte ein halbes Doppelzimmer gebucht und bekam durch Isolde schon vor der Reise Kontakt zu meiner zukünftigen Zimmergenossin. Durch die Whatsapp-Gruppe, die von Isolde eingerichtet wurde, hatte man bei Antritt der Reise schon das Gefühl, das man alle Mitreisenden bereits kennt.
Die Reise war perfekt organisiert, die Lodges waren durchweg sehr gut ausgesucht, es passte einfach alles.
Die Gruppe bestand aus 5 Personen, dazu kamen noch Isolde und ein Guide. Wir hatten 2 Jeeps und somit hatte jeder viel Platz während der Fahrt und auch zum Fotografieren während der Gamedrives.
Unsere beiden Fahrer George und Vicent waren sehr routiniert, hilfsbereit und humorvoll und ich fühlte mich jederzeit gut und sicher aufgehoben. Selbst im unwegsamsten Gelände entdeckten sie Tiere, die wir selbst kaum gesehen hätten.
Wir besuchten Orte, die von keinem anderen Reiseunternehmen angefahren werden und dadurch kamen wir auch sehr häufig mit den Einheimischen in Kontakt.
Im Anschluss an diese Reise hatten meine Zimmergenossin und ich noch die Reise in den Norden in etwas verkürzter Form gebucht, worüber wir nach der Erfahrung mit der ersten Tour sehr glücklich waren. Wir waren zusammen mit unserem Fahrer George unterwegs und auch hier hat von Anfang bis Ende alles gepasst. Wir waren also insgesamt 4 Wochen in diesem schönen Land unterwegs und es gab keinen Tag, an dem uns das Lachen vergangen ist. Es stimmt, eine Reise zum Verlieben, denn ich habe mich unsterblich in dieses tolle Land verliebt.
Ich kann die Reisen von Isolde jedem empfehlen, der nicht nur auf den vom Tourismus vorgegebenen Pfaden unterwegs sein möchte.

Northern Uganda Group Trip March 2021
Our round trip through northern Uganda with the Nature Responsible team was well organized and everything went smoothly. Our driver drew our attention to animals that we would not have seen on our own, had a great deal of knowledge about flora and fauna, was very attentive and was able to tell a lot about life in Uganda. In his car we felt safe, the speed was adapted to the roads and therefore it was very comfortable when driving. The accommodations were well chosen and we felt comfortable there. We are not photographers, but we really liked the space in the car and the freedom of movement when observing animals. We are usually individual travelers, were a bit skeptical about doing this trip in a group, but it was a wonderful trip with great people, it was also pleasant not to have to worry about anything and if we travel again in a group then we would be happy to travel with the NatureResponsible team.
